About Rodney Shaw

Rodney Shaw is a pastor, author, and trainer. He serves as senior pastor of New Life Austin where he has served in various capacities since the church was established in 1992. He has authored four books and more than two hundred published articles, papers, and Bible lessons. Rodney teaches and preaches internationally with an emphasis on ministry development and training, leadership, teamwork, and church growth. He serves his denomination in both district and national capacities and was formerly an editor for more than two decades. He holds a master’s degree in theology.

Rodney is married to Stacey, and they have two adult children, Taylor and Brooke (husband Jacob Duvall), and one grandchild, Nora. Rodney loves to hike and is a home barista.
